Life seems to have turned around for me. I'm actually enjoying some aspects of De Anza now. I've been meeting new people and starting to talk to different people in class. On the contrary to this, school has become too easy. There seems to be no competition in any of my classes, there's nothing left motivation me in any of my classes. Getting an A is so ridiculously easy, all I have to do is pick up a book for 2 hours and I'm done. Which seems to be the reason why I'm becoming sorta lazy. I can't wait to transfer out to a UC or something, that way I can see my limits of how well I can actually do in school.
Competition is what drives me. Lately I've lost my sense of competition, there's no Daniel Chu in San Jose so I have no one really to play tennis with. I can go to EVHS and own up some kids, but it just doesnt satisfy me anymore. (I know I'm sounding cocky...but yeah). This weekend changed it for me, I got smashed on by one of my old tennis friends and is making me want to get back into the tennis scene where there is still lots of competition. I believe this is why I've been playing basketball. It's so different because I'm probably one of the "worser" guys out there. It's a challenging sport and since most of my friends are playing it, but it only drives me to a certain degree.
